A bigger and better Blogapalooza happened last October 11, 2014 at SMX Convention Center, SM Aura. The event was originally scheduled to take place last Sept. 20, but the organizers were forced to cancel and move it to a later date due to bad weather caused by Typhoon Mario. And because they moved it to October 11, I didn't have to think about my birthday plans anymore (yup, October 11 is my birthday. lol). Haha! Spent my entire afternoon talking to different brands and meeting fellow bloggers.

Squeezing in a quick post tonight even though it's almost midnight and I'm sooo sleepy already. I can't just afford to let this day pass without updating my blog, especially now that my backlogs are starting to pile up again. Jeez, can't believe it's June already! We are halfway through the year, can you imagine that? Gotta work extra hard and fast so I can accomplish everything that I planned for myself this year. Pressure much! Feels like I'm on a race. Haha I hope I'll learn to manage my time wisely though and stop procrastinating. :/

Anyway, for tonight's post, I will be sharing some of the events that made me quite busy for the past 2 weeks. First on the list is the Etude Princess Run.

It was my first time to join a fun run and frankly, I never imagined myself getting into any health/fitness related activities such as this one. You see, I was never the sporty type, though I can play badminton and table tennis (but not that good lol). I also have a love-hate relationship with running/jogging coz I always get these weird allergies on my legs every time I jog. So, what made me decide to participate in this event? Well, it's my best (girl)friend, Dane, and her very good convincing powers. Haha!

I was kinda nervous, actually, coz I didn't really prepare for this run. I kept telling myself that it's just 3K and that I can always walk if ever I get tired from running. I sort of regretted it, though, coz I know I could have done better if I practiced. But 25 minutes for a first time runner isn't bad, right? ;)

Never thought I can finish a run, much more enjoy it. And I think one of the reasons why I made it is because Etude was able to come up with a nice (and girly) concept which apparently worked for me. I also like the carefree atmosphere which is probably due to a lot of pink everywhere. Haha This run is definitely for girly girls like me and I hope there will be more events like this. :)

So, from an outdoor event, let's now go indoors. I bet a lot of you have already seen this movie so I don't have to do an introduction anymore.

Last May 29, I was invited by Trinoma to a special block screening of Maleficent. It was a good thing that I was assigned (to work) somewhere in Quezon City that day so it was easy for me to get there. I used to frequent this mall back when I was still in college so it kinda holds a special spot in my heart. It reminds me of my younger days! Lol And after almost 3-4 years, the place still looks nice and classy, just like any Ayala Mall.

We were given 2 tickets each so I invited James to come with me. Food and drinks courtesy of Fish & Co. and T.G.I. Friday's were served before the actual screening. It was quite a struggle to eat coz the place wasn't really that big and there were a limited number of tables. But it's okay coz the food was great and we had fun participating in the question and answer (sort of) program. All questions were taken from the movie and I was impressed that James knows a lot about it. He was able to score free movie passes for getting a correct answer! Haha So fun.

Personally, I think the movie is good though the plot is very predictable. Okay, so I didn't get that True Love's Kiss coz I wasn't expecting it to be something like Frozen, but I was sure from the start that Maleficent will have a change of heart at the end of the movie. Nevertheless, Angelina Jolie portrayed the role well and that was enough reason for me to enjoy it. I give it an 8/10. Special thanks to Trinoma, Ms. Bianca and Ms. MJ for the invites! :)

And now, for the last event, let's go check out some of the beautiful designs for this year's Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2014.

Got invites to see one of the designer shows last Saturday and as usual, I was beyond amazed. Philippine Fashion Week is just getting better and better every season. I am at a loss for words so I'll just leave you with these photos. Pinoy pride at its finest!

Such classic collections. Wonder how it feels like to be wearing one of those pieces.

So, there you have it! Just some of the things that kept me away from blogging for the past few days. I was also out with some friends who I haven't seen for the longest time over the weekend plus it was a busy week at work, too. Having a day job while keeping a blog can be a little exhausting at times but I'm sure there's just something wrong with my time management skills. Hehe Anyway, I gotta go and sleep. Till my next post, guys (hopefully within this week)!
The long wait is over! Chos. Well, here it is guys! Finally blogging about The Fashion Blogger which happened last June 2, 2013 at SMX Meeting Rooms 4-6. This was the first ever talk organized by Bloggers United which featured top fashion bloggers David Guison, Laureen Uy, Kryz Uy, Camille Co and Lissa Kahayon.

Super late post, I know! Hahaha. But it's better late than never, you guys! So here goes my long overdue post about Bloggers United 5 which happened last June 1 at SMX Convention Center. It's my 3rd time to attend this event and super kalowka lang ang changes! James and I were so surprised when we saw the super duper long line outside Function Hall 3. Grabe! We arrived at around 11.30 AM and the place was so jam-packed already! Thank God I bought my tickets beforehand (excited lang! haha) plus I won an extra pa from Melai Entuna so it was less hassle for us. No need to endure the long lines! Shopping agad! ;D

I wasn't able to take lots of photos during the last day of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012 cause I was stupid enough not to charge my camera the night before. Haha And since I watched 2 shows on that day (the first one showcased three collections), my camera finally gave up on me halfway through the second show. Well anyway, here are the last set of photos I was able to snap. I'm no photographer so please pardon my amateur shots. haha

I arrived quite early at SMX Convention Center on the last day of Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2012. The weather was pretty nice that day and the place was not yet crowded so I took the chance and asked my mom to take my outfit photos right in front of the show schedule. Haha I love how nice the photos turned out!
