It's been a busy but super fun weekend for me. Philippine Fashion Week Spring Summer 2014 just ended yesterday and I'm once again thrilled to have seen my favorite designers' shows. I will be blogging about that soon but please bear with me for I still have a backlog of things to write about. So to start, today's post is about my birthday outfit!

Hello hello! I'm backkk! But I'm just gonna make this short and simple. I still have loads to do and my body's still not functioning well. I haven't recovered from my flu yet! Huhu. Anyway, here's an outfit shot I took two weeks ago. I seldom wear dainty and girly pieces coz I'm afraid I won't be able to pull it off. But this dress is just too pretty and it reminds me how much I loved wearing dresses back when I was a kid. Haha. So, what do you think?

After almost a week of non stop rain, Mr. Sun finally showed himself today. I hope he will continue to shine for the coming days though, coz I've been dying to go out and take outfit shots under bright, sunny skies again. #bloggerproblems

Hooray for the long weekend!! What are your plans? Mine is to stay home and finish all my pending tasks like this blog post. Haha ;)

To start with, I will be sharing about my experience when I attended our company's biggest Philippine celebration last February 25 at the MOA Arena. Boy, it was the grandest event I have ever attended! I mean, do you know any company who had their event at the MOA Arena? With hosts like RX 93.1's very own Delamar and Eat Bulaga's Julia Clarete? Not to mention guest speakers who flew all the way from USA and Canada just to share their experiences with the company and how it has changed their lives from the moment they decided to be a part of it. I was sitting there, amazed and thrilled. I was imagining myself going up that stage too and sharing my own success story to thousands of people. Omg. I just can't wait. I, for sure, will be sharing more about my company when that time comes but until then, I will keep some details to myself first. But if you're that interested to know, you can send me an email at shaynebirao@yahoo.com or PM me on Facebook. :)

Back when I was still a student, I used to dislike waking up on Sunday mornings because that would mean saying goodbye to my much anticipated weekends! Haha.

But 4 years later, Sundays can't get any better! With the crazy schedule that I have, Sunday is the only time for me to: 1.) Bond with my family and bf 2.) Accomplish errands 3.) Pick up orders for Just Chic 4.) Take outfit photos, and lastly 5.) Update blog. Whew! Still got so many things to do even on my supposed to be rest day! But I'm not complaining guys, just sharing! Haha

Sometimes when my schedule gets too loaded, I often miss out on numbers 4 and 5. (Huhu. So sad.) But if I managed to finish early, I take every chance I get to have some outfit photos for my blog. And last Sunday, I was lucky enough James was there to take my outfit photos. Teehee :> Thanks, babe! :)

So now, on to my outfit! Love my pseudo denim polo which is actually a hand-me-down from my mom! :)

I missed wearing this pair of clogs! It's been quite a while!

Gotta sleep now! I'm off to our company's biggest event tomorrow! Yay!! Excited! Good night! :)

I started my week by wearing something cute and girly. I've been so busy for the past couple of days (and will get busier in the coming months) that it's almost impossible for me to take outfit shots. But as they say, if there's a will, there's a way! So, here I am posing in my cutest little pink dress from my very own online shop, Just Chic.

Just Chic dress

This dress has been in my possession for the longest time but I never had the chance to wear it until last Monday. We had a team presentation at work so I thought of wearing something a little corporate but not too serious. And I think this dress is a perfect one. Don't you think? :)

To balance off the sweetness of this look, I wore accessories in solid colors like these black watch and black necklace with silver details. I also added a few bracelets in the same color as my dress just to make things more fun. Arm party! :D

Before I end this post (and rush to work), I would like to show you some photos by my teammate, Amiel. According to him, this is art! Haha

Yezzz! So what do you guys think? Pwede na? Pwede! Haha Amiel, if you're reading this, thanks for taking my outfit photos. We'll definitely do this again with the whole team! :)

Took advantage of our empty garage and asked my mom (as usual) to take my outfit photos before we went to the mall to watch The Avengers. It was my second time to watch the movie and I think I'll never get tired watching it! Definitely one of the best movies for 2012!

Anyway, on to my outfit. Would you believe that the top I'm wearing here is actually a dress? Its layered design made a pseudo-cropped top effect which perfectly matched my high waist tulle skirt! Amazing, right?

As much as I love wearing flats because of the comfort it brings to my feet, I can't deny that heels really add that extra appeal to any outfit, especially if you're a short girl like me. HAHA Just don't forget to bring flats wherever you go so you won't have to drag your feet the whole day. :)

And for a little bohemian vibe, I wore this cute boho inspired headband (which I forgot the brand, sorry :D ) and long feather earrings in purple for a sudden pop of color.

Elisha Collections stacked rings | Silver ring from James

I'll tell you a secret. These stacked rings are pretty much not my size and because there's no way of adjusting them, I wore this ring (which James gave me as a first anniversary gift) as a stopper so it won't fall off. And it worked! Haha It's like hitting two birds with one stone! Fashion and function! :)
