Hey, guys! I'm back from my 6-day stint in The Amazing Race aka my recent trip to Japan. Lol You wouldn't believe the amount of stress me and my friends had to endure in our entire stay in this country. It almost felt like I had a full-body workout--complete with body pain and muscle spasm. Haha I'm not sure if I should share the details of our misadventures, but one thing I'm telling you, I've never been so stressed and tired from a trip in my 28 years of existence. Lol But it's definitely one hell of an adventure! Shout out to my girlfriends, Jana and Maru, for making everything bearable. Haha #aberyastoremember

Anyway, this post isn't about my Japan trip. I won't be sharing photos from it yet because for now, I'm taking you down memory lane with these photos from 2 years ago taken at Samcheongdong-gil in Seoul, South Korea. I am such a good blogger that I think it will take me another 2 years before I can blog about Japan, or even Bali. Lol Well, who knows, miracles do happen. Haha

I miss Seoul. Not the place per se, but the people I spent time with (Okay, maybe I kinda miss all the cute cafes and underground fashion boutiques too. Jamsil!!! huhu). I really want to go back and I'm hoping I'll get a chance before I move to the other side of the world soon, God willing.

Fun fact: I didn't know how to use chopsticks until I moved to Korea. It was also my first time to eat Korean food and had it there everyday (except for a few Sundays that I went to Burger King to get my favorite Quattro Cheese Whopper and Chicken Strips, haha).

South Korea has a strong coffee culture that I learned to drink coffee without getting palpitations and got addicted to it eventually.

Samcheongdong is one of my favorite places in Seoul. I think I can survive an entire day here, jumping from one cafe to another. But my number 1 cafe hopping destination is still Garosu-gil. This area located in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam has the best and cutest cafes in my opinion. Will try to share photos next time.

These photos were taken around this time of the month in 2015, on Valentine's Day to be exact. It was my second week in Seoul.

That's all for now. I'm currently trying different filters on my photos and would be happy to receive a feedback from you. Thank you and I hope you'll enjoy your Valentine's Day with your loved ones. :)

Just to let everyone know, this blog is still alive and so am I. Lol I've been neck-deep in work for the past months since I got back in Manila so I never had the chance to blog. I also deactivated my Facebook account and might never activate it again. Haha Why? Well, at first, it was because I'm currently doing something career-related that requires most, if not all, of my attention. I'm sure you guys would agree with me that social networking sites, most especially Facebook, take a lot of our precious time. So, yeah. I decided to deactivate it for a while. But now, I realized that I don't really need it in my life since I don't like sharing my pictures and thoughts there anyway. I kept my messenger active though, so my friends and family can still reach me (and vice versa) anytime. That's the most important thing, right? :)

On Laur's last full day in Korea, we went to see the Grand Palaces of Seoul. We actually bought the Integrated Palace Ticket which allows entrance to the four palaces plus Jongmyo Shrine. But since we arrived late (again), we weren't able to visit all of these places. We didn't realize how big each of these palaces are and that it would be impossible to finish the tour in just 3 - 4 hours (or maybe we didn't make it because we spent a lot of time taking pictures. hihi). We were already behind our schedule, so we decided to just visit Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung Palaces.

Yaaay! My blog is alive!!! Finally had some free time today so I'm sharing some photos from Korea. I have a ton of pictures in my phone right now, I'm actually kinda worried that it might explode anytime soon. Lol So, to prevent that from happening, I'm gonna start putting everything here. Haha But one place at a time only. I've got one of the most demanding jobs in the world that it would be impossible for me to blog as often as I did before. huhu But oh well. We all have to hustle! haha

To start off, I'm sharing photos from Nami Island! I went there last March with my friend, Laurice, who came to Korea for a short vacation. We almost missed the train going to Gapyeong because of me. I woke up late. HAHA Some things never change!

For sure most of you are familiar with this place. We all watched that Korean drama, Endless Love Winter Sonata. Right? :))

Our original plan was to visit Petite France after going to Nami, since it will take just about 25 minutes to get there via Gapyeong Tour Bus. But someone told Laurice that Petite France was under construction during that time so we decided to ditch the idea and just go back to Seoul earlier than our schedule. If you have plans of going to Nami, I suggest you visit Petite France too. That would be more convenient and I heard the place is really nice.

It was still winter when we went to Nami, so there's not much to see. I think the best time to go there is during fall season because you'll get to see the play of colors of the leaves. Or early winter when everything is still covered in snow if you like cold weather that much. I think I prefer fall season. It's so hard to move when you're wearing a lot of clothes. Haha Well, that's just me. :P

You wouldn't believe the amount of photos that we took that day. I spent a good one hour sorting which ones to include in this blog post. And that's just for Nami! Haha It's crazy how we always take a lot of photos but only upload a few ones. Lol

I'm so grateful that Laurice went to Korea. I wouldn't have thought of visiting Nami if it wasn't for her. Here's to more #LaurandShayneAdventures soon, L! ;)

Repriziiint! haha Ferry ride back to Namiseom Dock. From there, you can take a cab to get to Gapyeong station where you can take the ITX train going to Seoul.

Hope you enjoyed the photos! I'm still thinking what place to blog about on my next post. That is, if I'll get lucky to have some free time again. Haha I post more on my Instagram though! So follow me there if you want to see more photos from Korea. Gomawoyo! :D
