Birthday Girl
It's been a busy but super fun weekend for me. Philippine Fashion Week Spring Summer 2014 just ended yesterday and I'm once again thrilled to have seen my favorite designers' shows. I will be blogging about that soon but please bear with me for I still have a backlog of things to write about. So to start, today's post is about my birthday outfit!
I'm not Chinese but I think we Filipinos have already practiced that tradition of wearing red on special occasions too. Though we don't follow it religiously in our family, I thought it would be nice to sport an all red look for my post birthday dinner for a change. Thanks to this maxi skirt, which arrived a few days earlier, and Topshop's midseason sale, where I got this animal print top. Lady in red outfit achieved! Haha :))
Buti na lang I'm tall so I was able to pull off this ensemble. HAHAHA Joke! I was actually wearing my MSE clogs coz you know, I'm a really small girl! :P There's no way I can wear this skirt with a pair of flats (except of course if I cut a few inches from it) so I just chose my most comfortable pair of heels instead. Perfect for a short night stroll!
Love my Harve High Slit Maxi! It's maroon pala not red! Hihi
